Supernatural Nature
The flagship series. Storm systems, light breaking through, the land under weather. Thick, worked paint you can see from across a room.
The Table
Still lifes from the good part of the evening: an Aperol spritz in the afternoon sun, Tuscan wine at a window, the quiet weight of clay and glass.
Homage to Giverny
Studies in Monet's light: lilies, meadows and the shimmer of colour before form. Small works that make generous gifts.
Landscapes & Works on Paper
Places that stay with you: a Maine lighthouse, a Pacific Northwest lake, a lone tree standing in still water.
Rodrigo Alonso
Alonso was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where his gift for drawing surfaced early. By his teens he was painting for a well-known atelier in Montevideo, Uruguay, and at 16 he mounted his first exhibition.
He has lived in the United States since 2006. Much of that time has been quiet by design: a long refinement of style and technique, away from the pressures of an exhibition calendar. He is now showing his work again and selling directly to collectors around the world.
His subject is Nature as force. A weather system gathering over the plain. A coastline caught mid-change. Each painting is an argument about what matters in a scene.
